PDF Bench processes your files entirely on your device. Your PDFs and images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere. We collect no analytics, no personal data, and use no trackers.
All PDF operations (merging, splitting, rotating, image conversion) run locally in your browser tab using the open-source pdf-lib library. Files you select never leave your device.
If you purchase a Pro license, the extension sends your license key to Gumroad's license verification endpoint (api.gumroad.com) to confirm the purchase. This happens when you activate the key and periodically afterwards to re-validate it. No other data is sent. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs data you provide during purchase on their site.
Your license key and its verification timestamp are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. Nothing else is stored.
